Have you been wondering how can you age gracefully? What is the best way to nourish your skin and maintain it’s health as you age?
The anti-aging market consistently discusses removing, erasing, lightening, freezing the muscles, filling in the wrinkles, and even bleaching.
Should we be talking about the power of vitamins, antioxidant-rich and omega-rich botanicals?
Aging skin needs extra love and care as it is losing its collagen, elastin, and natural ability to produce oils that act as a protective and moisturizing layer. In addition, aging skin dehydrates easier and can often feel flaky and dry.
Depending on your age and skin type, skin after 30 begins to show first signs of lines, age spots, dryness, and sagging. The sooner we take care of this, the better the long-term results will be. Caring for the skin should always be taken with balance in mind.
While our skin experiences instant and impressive results by removing, erasing, freezing, filling in, and on. The problem is that all of those treatments have long-term weakening effects on the skin. The skin begins to rely on them so much that it loses its ability to age healthy, which may lead to faster aging when we remove aggressive treatments as part of our skincare routine.
Age Gracefully with Topical Nourishing Ingredients:
Plant oils are 100% natural ingredients that mimic our skin’s natural oils and include compounds that nourish and protect skin cells. Incorporate them into your daily skin care routine as a moisturizer, and/or as a face cleanser.
Grape seed oil is high in Omega – 6 essential fatty acids and contains natural chlorophyll, vitamin E, and antioxidants. It is nourishing and conditioning, improving skin elasticity and barrier function.
Jojoba seed oil can control water loss, preventing the skin from dehydration and dryness. The jojoba plant grows in a semi-desert environment, where many plants can not survive due to extreme heat and dryness. The oil it produces protects the pores by sealing them against evaporation and provides insulation.
Raspberry seed oil is one of Tarli’s favorite ingredients. It has a slightly fruity scent, is light-absorbing, and contains high concentrations of essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6, exceptionally high in antioxidants, vitamin E, and provitamin A. This oil is an excellent ingredient to use under sunscreen to boost skin resilience against sun damage.
Blueberry seed oil has a delicate blueberry scent; it is exceptionally nourishing with a high amount of vitamin E and antioxidants, and delivers protective and repairing benefits to the skin’s barrier, repairing damage and scar tissue. In addition, it can regenerate, smooth fine lines, and improve skin texture.
Plant oils are produced from the seeds of various plants. Every plant begins from a seed that holds all of the nourishment and energy necessary for that plant to grow. Many of those seeds are then pressed to produce a deeply nourishing and protecting skin oils.
Natural forms of antioxidants are found in many plants and plant extracts that are then incorporated into natural skincare products. Antioxidants prevent molecules from oxidation. They hold the balance between cell life and breakdown.
Antioxidants will help us boost the skin and the body’s immune system to neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals and help the skin cope with the impact of environmental stressors. Once the antioxidant has access to the free radicals in the skin, it will neutralize them and prevent oxidative damage from continuing.

Just like vitamins are an essential part of our diet, they are a necessary nutrient for our skin topically. Each one has a particular job on the skin, from brightening, to collagen stimulating, protecting, and more properties. We prefer to use them in their natural form v.s. synthetic as we see that the skin recognizes and metabolizes them in a more natural state without any unnecessary side effects or build-up.
Both of our serums are formulated with vitamin and antioxidant-rich, deeply nourishing fruit oils that build skin’s immunity and keep it youthful and glowing. Every product is designed to offer deep nourishment and support the cycles of your skin, giving it exactly what it needs to stay healthy and strong.
Hydration, or the skin’s water content, is one of the most essential ingredients. Hydration is what keeps the skin soft and smooth. Our bodies consist of 70% water and our skin is the largest organ. This fact shows how important hydrating the skin in reality is. Pure water and plant hydrosols are excellent choices. In addition, aloe vera gel, coconut water, and glycerin are other natural ingredients that are amazing hydrators.
The key to effective hydration is to lock it into the skin to prevent it from evaporating. Apply an oil serum, plant oil, balm or moisturizer on top of your hydrator so the skin will stay soft and hydrated throughout the day.
Many skin types feel dry when in reality, they are dehydrated, and this last step is crucial.
Nourish Your Skin From The Inside Out
We often don’t think of the fact that the skin is an organ of our whole body, and it is the outermost organ. Topical nourishment is one of the most important steps in skin care, but it is not the only treatment necessary. Internal nutrition is just as important.
We suggest a healthy, whole-food diet abundant in fresh produce that will nourish the whole body and the skin with minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. Healthy fat for healthy Omegas and soft, supple skin. Internal hydration with clean water, coconut water, tea, and fruits.
Our bodies need food to thrive, and so does our skin. Choose natural v.s. Synthetics, as our bodies, are created to thrive in nature.
See your skin firm with a strong barrier that is well hydrated, soft, and smooth, with a bright complexion and healthy glow. Boost your skin’s collagen and elastin production with potent botanicals derived from nature. Feed your skin with real nurturing ingredients without overstimulating and stripping the barrier of its protective elements. Love and care for your skin the way it will make it balanced.
In addition, we suggest incorporating a few face massage steps as your daily habit while applying your face oils and serums. Facial yoga has also been proven to bring many skin-firming benefits. While this is another post on its own, we wanted to mention it as another way of natural care for healthy aging.
